Question by gazap2005: How do I keep track of online assistants?
I have just hired a guy from india to work on my online business. Im in the uk so I obviously can keep a check in him. Any ideas as yo how I can keep a check on this guy?

If you hired a person from India then the best and first thing you should ask him is
1. If he is going to provide a Content Management System (CMS) system for you online business, which is more like a Microsoft package, and even if in future he plans to leave your online business then you can take care of it yourself.
2. Ask him if you can have backup taken all time by your own of your website, through that you will be having user name and password for your Control Panel and FTP server of your website, since most of the time when you are not satisfied with there work and ask them to leave it then being cross then can ruin or remove all your work which can cause u a lot of lose, so be assured of it as well.
3. Have complete hosting details for your website again, with user name and password included in it, so that, just in case if he doesn’t help you out with cpanel and FTP details you can ask hosting company to help you out.
4. You must be going for some online Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system so ask him for backup details of it as well, and user name and password for it as well.
These are some of the important things you need to know about your website, and ask him if he is going to your SEO work for your website as well or not. If so ask him what all techniques and tools he is going to used for it.
