Q&A: What is the difference between “Bachelor of Science” and “Bachelor of Science in Business”?

Question by laurinamae: What is the difference between “Bachelor of Science” and “Bachelor of Science in Business”?
Hi – I am ordering graduation announcements, and I am not sure if I should put “Bachelor of Science” or “Bachelor of Science in Business” on them. My major is International Business and according to a school record online .. I have a Bachelor of Science. The other choice seems more appropriate however. What should I do?

Well in India one would write the major in brackets after the degree. A Bachealor of Science would put B.Sc, followed by the major in parentheses. For example B.Sc.(Math) for some one who majored in Math. So you could say B.S ( International Business)
