Question by : What are the requirements for starting an online business in WA state?
I know I need to apply for an EIN but what else would an online business entail? Will I need a state/local license if I buy wholesale products and sell them online in the state of WA? Other than an EIN and license is there anything else I need to be weary of? Who can I contact for guidance? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

CAUTION;
cities want the sales taxes that seem to be lacking while new internet businesses start and grow. But
sales taxes are designed to pay for fire and police for fixed site assistance; which the net does not need.
So, my suggestion; do not seek any permits for your NET business till you are pocketing 10k a mo.
then seek a resale tax permit and all the other docs that fixed site biz’s need.
[vendors and some industrial buyers want the EIN. Skip it till it is asked for by those who can help bring you biz.
study books on small biz and entrepreneurship and then also 1-2 books on internet biz success.
