Question by : How old do i have to be to start a home based business?
Hi everyone in 15 and i live in South Carolina and i am very good at fixing lawnmowers and small engines and i was thinking about starting a part time small home business i have all the tools and everything that i need i just need to know what i must have to start it as far as licenses and perments and stuff any help would be appreciated

I’m not positive on South Carolina but i know in oregon there is nothing stoping you. I imagine with your age you could even get away without claiming taxes. But reguardless, there is “working under the table” which means basically off record. I used to mow lawns at age 10 to earn a few extra bucks, if you can do it otherwise then by all means, you live in the land of free enterprise, go out and do it.
