Question by joseph c: I am looking to start an online business. Does anyone know if I would need an LLC?
I am looking to sell my pictures online, as well as have paid members on my site that need to pay a membership for certain privaleges. I am not very business savy. Does this seem like something I would need and LLC for? Or would Just hosting it and going about it just running the site be ok?

No, you don’t need to setup an LLC. If the object of business is to make money, then make money. Don’t spend time, effort and money setting up an LLC when you start. If you’re based in the US, register your business as a sole proprietorship and file a fictitious name with your town, county, state (as required). You can contact score for additional assistance (ref in sources). Good Luck!
