I like to start a home based business and need funding to start, how do I go about getting the money for the business under the business name instead of my own name and soc.?

You might be able to recieve funding for equipment used in the business and in your business name, but you will be required to give your name and social security number. You will have to personally guaranty the repayment of these funds. Since the company is esentially you, and you can take all the assets out of the company if you wish no one will lend you money any other way.
