Question by flashlight: Could i start an online business working video editing?
im pretty good at video editing and i have tons of software and equipment. how hard would it be to start a business online doing that? people could just send me videos to edit, like a wedding for example, specify how they want it, and paypal me money to do it. simple work. then i send the finished product back to them.
its just an idea i had. i guess i could set up a small website. what is the best way for me to go about doing this?

– The first thing to do is to convince people visiting your site that you are NOT a crook only after their money.
– The second thing you should do is to determine how good you really are. with today’s gadgets even I can do some video editing.
– At this stage you should decide whom are your clients and how best to target them. Maybe a website is not the best way maybe you should start with your community… once you decide the profile of your clients then you will be ready to choose the following:
– Pricing
– Advert.
– Sales Strategy
etc…
Don’t think that establishing a successful business on-line is in any way easier than establishing a brick and mortar one. You will need to be much more convinced of the idea and have a lot more passion for it to succeed.
