Question by mikesimsr: Anyone have experience with a home based business doing odd jobs?
I am considering starting my own business doing odd jobs for other people. Pretty much anything they can’t or won’t do for themselves. Has anyone done this? What do you charge? Hourly? By the job? Any info would certainly help. I can elaborate more on my business plan if you wish.

No I have not had experience with that type of business but I like the idea. Read my profile if you get a chance I have been starting and operating my own companies for over 35 years.
I would guess you would most likely charge by the job. You do not want to be run all over town which is most likely what will happen by the hour. People will figure out they can send you to 3 or 4 places near their home in a hour to run errands for them.
If you are thinking of a handyman type of thing that would most likely be by the hour.
