Question by blahjot.com: Do you need to be registered as a business in every state if you sell online?
I’m starting an online business where I will be selling and shipping items to consumers. However since I only have one physical location yet ship items to another state, do I still have to register with the other state’s Department of Revenue?

No – only YOUR state. It doesn’t matter where your customers live; only where YOU live and do business.
