Last year we put up a fence and a concrete patio. Can I take my home office deduction for those items? If so where would I document those costs? I’m filing on TurboTax.

You have to ask yourself “how did a fence and concrete patio contribute to my home office?”
And the answer to that is “they didnt”. You can ONLY deduct your primary home office space. Not your patio, not your kitchen, not your driveway.
But hey, go ahead and try it, the IRS needs fresh meat.
