Question by AWife: Online business – Is a registration and FEIN needed?
I will be opening an online store (Accssesories & Jewelry) and operating it on my own from home. Most of my merchandise will come from China. I live in Maryland. Do I have to register my business and obtain a FEIN? I am getting different answers from everyone. Please help!

normally no as u can operate under
your own SS. the rest of the stuff
is for lawyers to make money.
check with your states sales tax offices
as u will have to collect sales taxes as
required and pay it as needed.
