I Live In Utah And Want To Start My Own Online Business, Do I Have To Register The Name With Utah If It’s Only Going To Be Me Running The Business?

You don’t have to register with the state. However, if you want to use a business name (which you may need if people send you checks), you should get a DBA license. With this license, you can open a bank account in the business name.
