Question by NBTech: What kind of business license do I need for an internet business in Michigan?
Just curious, as I’m about to register an LLC for an online business, and want to make sure I cover all my legal ground.

Every state has a “Starting A Business Guide” including Michigan. You need to read it.

Generally speaking once you incorporate you will need to obtain a resale license or sales and use license. You will also need to collect sales tax on all in state sales. That is what your resale license is for. You may also need a business license. Business licenses can be required by cities or counties depending on exactly where you live.
