Question by thatoneanthony: How do I discontinue a business I never started, and cancel the Tax ID?
I filed for a Tax ID almost a year ago, to start an online clothing line. I did not pursue the online business after filing for the Tax ID. How do I cancel everything now that it’s been almost a year?
Also, the IRS sent me employee forms that I never filled out. The only thing I did business wise in relevance to the online clothing line was file for the Tax ID.

call the IRS and tell them what you want to do. 800-829-1040 is their main number, someone will be able to direct you in the right direction.
