Most web design companies will also help you install a store and customer checkout interface. Try doing a google search for “web design in [insert name of your city].” Often if you are able to meet with the web designers in person you will be a lot better off.
There are two main reasons to register your online business – if you make enough revenue to report your earnings to your government for tax purposes, or if it will help you save money on taxes by writing off large purchases (such as office furniture) as business expenses.
