Question by j_angelicas: What would take for me to start my own wedding planning and/or event planning business from my home? ?
I want to start this business from my home. Not sure what to charge for base pay.Or even how to charge. Also I need to know what to I need to have any order to start.? Is there a need for alot of start up funds? If so about how much? What are ways to begin building clientel. I would perfer a smaller crowd to start.

Your library has books on starting “mini businesses” or “small businesses”….Start very simply by looking over what’s involved. By a simple bookeeping journal at a office supply. File a ficticious name statement at the county. Buy a business licence for your town. Look into what you need for insurance. Advertise on craig’s list or set up a booth at a “wedding faire” and you’ll know if you have a market for your business where you are for not too much $ invested.
