Question by muzik lover: Where can I obtain a business license?
I live in Los Angeles County and I would like to know how,where,and the price of obtaining a business license. I would also like to know how i can ship from my own house, and how to sell from the interenet. Any information regarding home base business would help. Its a clothing line I am trying to start.

You should contact your local and/or regional government department. They will be able to give you pricing and all other information concerning registering a business. To ship from your own house, you will need a courier picking up your goods from your house and dropping them off at the docks to be shipped. This may be a bit more expensive because residential areas are a hassle to get to (for couriers) and packing goods into the truck/van may make your neighbours a bit concerned. You spelt internet wrong as well. I don’t think you can manufacture clothes from home unless you’re a hand-made garments designer, which means you work on value and not quantity. You will need to obtain a license to say that your business is running from your home as well.
